Citroen GS 1220 Service Van 1975 LHD
A fully restored and unbelievably like new and rare, and I do mean rare, collectors classic Citroen. This car originated in the Charente area of South West France, a very warm and dry climate, and was restored over the last few years by a Citroen Specialist in Lincoln, who was a GS enthusiast, and had accumulated a large quantity of new old stock parts.
Over a period of time this car was comprehensively and lovingly restored to its present condition. The engine was completely rebuilt, body panels were replaced ie doors, front wings, bonnet, rear tailgate, wheels, new Michelins all round including spare. New dashboard, brand new seats (yes NEW seats not re-upholstered) .Lots of other items were replaced simply because they were available and to hand. This car drives as new, engine is completely quite, all hydraulics have been replaced, new exhaust and so on. It would be difficult to over describe this rare car.
It has travelled approximately 8000 kilometres since restoration.
It is a well known car within the Citroen Car Club and should go to a collector who will appreciate its rarity.
