Competition AC Aceca For Sale (1956) edit C168061 | | | The Ultimate Aceca.
An original 1956 car, first owned by Louis Klemantaski, the internationally famous racing photographer. A no expense rebuild to full race specification with FIA Technical Passport. Presented in A1 condition, the main features of this exciting example are as follows:
Chassis No: AE 580. Reg: 13/06/56.
Complete chassis and body restoration by Nigel Dawes.
Race prepared by Roger Dowson for Jonathan Bradburn.
175 bhp Ford 2.6 by Competition Engine Services (Greg Margetts).
ZF gearbox with o/drive, new brakes, drive shafts, propshaft, exhaust, harnesses, rebuilt wheels, Lifeline plumbed fire system, Halda and much more.
Since rebuild was completed early '05, has competed in only three events gaining two 1st and one 2nd places. Eligible contender for Goodwood, Tour Auto, hillclimbs etc.
