| BMW 628 CSi – timewarp! For Sale (1980) edit C58592 | | | Fantastic opportunity for the collector... the closest to a new 'old' 6 series around. A very rare manual example (only 48 RHD were produced in 1980)... full leather interior (blue). This car was previously owned locally by a husband and wife for over 20 years until arthritis made it too difficult to get in and out.
The husband spent £1000s on a restoration less than 4 years ago... full bare metal respray (in BMW dolphin silver - gives a pleasing blue tinge), new chrome, seals where required... and then I was fortunate to take ownership.
The car came to me with replica alloys/tyres... and magically a full set of brand new REAL alpina alloys (worth over £2k) that the previous owner purchased in early 80s and never put on 'to keep them nice' – these are now on the car and are completely unmarked. Replica alloys/tyres will also go with the car.
Drives great, everything that needed done has been done and you won't find another like her. All electrics work as they should.
