The Appeal
One of the earliest tractors of its time, the model 'B' was a row-crop tractor aimed specifically at small farms and estates that still relied on horse-and-ox to maintain their fields. It was brought into the US markets in 1937, and remained in production for quite some time; indeed, they were still rolling off AC's Essendine production line until the 1950s.
This fine example, chassis No.EB11530, has a known history from new: originally purchased by a South Wales farmer who later relocated to Exmoor in Somerset, it passed to the current owner in 2022. A comprehensive restoration was carried out that same year, covering bodywork, mechanical components, and running gear. The vendor describes it as starting on the electric starter first time and being a lovely drive, having completed several 12-mile round trips with ease. It is accompanied by the original owner's manual and crank starting handle.image.png1.58 MB
