Significant expenditure carried out prior to current ownership, with invoice included
The Appeal
Arguably one of the most important machines ever built by a British marque, the Morris Minor is widely credited with getting post-war, Austerity-led Britain back on the road. Over a period of some twenty-three years, it remained one of the country's most iconic, if not near-synonymous motors. This is an early example from 1954, notable for its distinctive two-piece windscreen, which has become increasingly scarce.
This particular car was purchased by the current owner in late 2021, shortly after significant work had been carried out – the invoice for which is included among the documentation. While there are signs of corrosion to the bodywork and general wear consistent with its age, the underside is reported to be solid, which is an encouraging sign for any prospective Morris Minor buyer.
The car starts, runs, and is said to drive satisfactorily, though having been stored and not used for some time, a thorough service is recommended before it returns to regular use. 260813-morris-minor-3.jpg785.59 KB
