The Appeal

The Triton is one of the most celebrated cafe racer builds in motorcycling history. Born from the 1960s ton-up culture, these machines married a powerful and refined parallel twin with a light, nimble chassis. Each one is unique, and they remain highly sought after by enthusiasts of the British cafe racer movement.
This extensively modified example comes with a bill of sale from Bristol Classic Bikes in England dated 1992 and a collection of old TÜV papers documenting its past. It has been carefully dry-stored in a garage throughout the current owner's tenure and has never been kept outside. Cosmetically, it shows honest wear consistent with its age, dents, scratches, and patina on the aluminium fuel tank, lending it genuine character and presence. The vendor describes it as a machine that goes like hell, is loud, and has a law-breaking appearance. Prospective buyers should note that the battery is currently flat.

We want a smooth transaction just as much as you do and as such we run all UK-registered cars and motorbikes for sale on Car & Classic through an online HPI check to verify that they show no insurance database markers for damage or theft, and have no finance owing, allowing you to bid with confidence.
✓ We also check whether vehicles are recorded as being written off as part of an insurance total loss claim at the time an advert is placed on Car & Classic and we helpfully provide write-off category labels (Cat C/D/S/N) for your assistance. However, the presence or absence of a label does not guarantee the vehicle’s status and it is always worthwhile carrying out your own  full vehicle history check before making an offer on a vehicle.
