A rare saloon produced in limited numbers between 1958 and 1962, the Alfa Romeo 2000 Berlina paired an Alfa's early twin-cam four-cylinder engine with refined, spacious coachwork in a practical four-door format. Left-hand drive examples are particularly scarce, making any survivor of real interest to Alfa Romeo collectors.
This 1960 example is reported to be a matching numbers car, finished in light grey over a black interior. It was imported in 2019 by the Malta Classic Car Collection from a collector in Bari, Italy, and has since been garaged and displayed at their premises. The vendor describes it as being in very good, solid condition, though it does require some restoration and mechanical work.
