1963 Lamborghini 2R

Highlights

  • Comprehensively restored in 2025 with zero operating hours since completion
  • Matching numbers example
  • Rare dual-seat variant, seldom offered for sale
  • Body fully sandblasted and refinished in two-component paint

The Appeal

The Lamborghini 2R hails from the era before Ferruccio Lamborghini turned his ambitions from agriculture to supercars. These compact Italian tractors, powered by a characterful three-cylinder engine, have become increasingly collectable, prized both as working machines and as artefacts of one of motoring's most storied marques. The dual-seat variant, as offered here, is particularly scarce and adds a further layer of desirability.
This specific example was comprehensively restored in 2025, with the vendor stating that no detail was overlooked. The bodywork was sandblasted before being refinished in two-component paint, while the three-cylinder engine and gearbox have both been rebuilt. A new clutch, pressure group, braking system, full electrical loom, and four new tyres complete the mechanical overhaul. Crucially, this is a matching numbers example, with engine and chassis numbers in correspondence.

Since the restoration was completed, the tractor has accumulated no operating hours, and the vendor states its condition is as good as could be hoped for.
