The Appeal

The Fiat 500 L, the 'Lusso' edition of the Italian icon, brought a touch of refinement to one of Italy's most beloved city cars, with upgraded trim and additional creature comforts. With its folding canvas roof and finished in the wonderfully evocative Giallo Positano, this 1971 example is the quintessential Italian classic.
Having passed through just two previous owners, this 500 L is said to retain its original engine and mechanical components, all reported to be in good working order. The bodywork was repainted approximately six years ago and the car has been garage-kept since. More recently, the interior has been refreshed and a number of seals and trim items renewed. The vendor reports that the underbody is sound and intact, a particularly encouraging sign on a car of this age and type.
