The Appeal
The Honda CB750 is widely regarded as one of the most important motorcycles ever produced, having redefined expectations for performance, reliability and refinement upon its arrival in the late 1960s. Its inline four-cylinder engine, front disc brake and electric starter set a new benchmark that the rest of the industry was quick to follow, and today it remains one of the most sought-after Japanese classics of its era.
This 1972 example is reported as entirely original with no modifications, having changed hands between only two registered previous owners before being acquired by the current owner in 2018. It presents paintwork that looks good, and the seller describes the motorcycle as being in very good overall condition. Mechanically, it has benefited from recent work as detailed below. Registered as a classic vehicle in France with matching frame and engine numbers noted, this is an interesting opportunity to acquire an honest and well-maintained example of Honda's famous 750.

✓ We also check whether vehicles are registered as written off as a result of a total loss claim at the time the listing is placed on Car & Classic and we provide write-off category labels (Cat C/D/S/N) to help you. However, the presence or absence of a label does not guarantee the vehicle's status and it is always helpful to carry out a full vehicle history check before making an offer on it.
✓ Buyers are responsible for collection or delivery of the vehicle. Importing vehicles may incur additional customs duties and import taxes.
