The Appeal

The Saab 96 V4 is one of the most endearing Scandinavian classics of its era. With its characteristic teardrop silhouette and Ford-derived V4 engine, the 96 achieved tremendous success in motorsport, and thanks to the legendary reliability of the Swedish marque, these cars were perfectly capable of covering miles with enthusiasm; delivering generous low-end torque and a friendly, engaging character. Blessed with distinctive styling, genuine capability and plenty of punch, it's fair to say there's much to admire about the 96.

Hailing from Finland, this 1972 example retains its original colour and resembles a charming little time capsule. It's uncommon to encounter these cars in France, and with so many qualities, we're confident it will generate considerable interest at auction.
