1972 Triumph TR6

Highlights

  • In current ownership for 30 years
  • Extensive mechanical refurbishment including gearbox and differential overhaul
  • J-type overdrive on 2nd, 3rd, and 4th gears
  • Alloy fuel tank and twin stainless steel exhaust system
  • Complete respray in 1994 with paintwork still in good condition

The Appeal

The Triumph TR6 is widely regarded as one of the last great British roadsters, combining classic styling with a torquey 2.5-litre straight-six engine that made for a visceral, analogous legacy. To this day, they're being picked up by enthusiasts and put through their paces. Taking one of these out onto a twisty B-road is a pleasure few other cars can match!

This particular example has been in the hands of its current owner for three decades, during which time it has benefited from considerable mechanical and cosmetic attention. It now comes to us as a very nicely prepared classic, ready and waiting to impress its lucky new owner,
