The Appeal

Dropping a supercharger onto Aurelio Lampredi’s fabulous twin-cam engine gave Lancia, and its 1980s buyers, one of the firm’s greatest and most entertaining sports cars. Just 1,272 crisply styled Pininfarina 154bhp Volumex coupes were manufactured, of which only 168 were RHD examples like this highly preserved survivor.

This low-mileage car has always lived in South Africa’s dry inland region, which explains its extremely good condition. Currently part of the vendor’s large collection, we’re told that it has had just two previous keepers who were father and son. Finished in Nero with a matching interior, it features desirable details like factory Cromodora alloy wheels, boot spoiler, and an optional left-side mirror.
