The 3.2-litre Carrera is widely regarded as one of the finest air-cooled 911s Porsche ever produced, and the Targa variant adds open-air motoring to the equation without sacrificing the car's iconic silhouette. Paired with the characterful pre-G50 915 five-speed manual gearbox, a configuration purists hold in particular regard, this is a 911 that rewards the enthusiastic driver.
This 1984 example is an original UK-supplied, right-hand-drive car, presented in Guards Red with a black-and-white pin-striped velour interior. Winchester Automobiles completed a comprehensive restoration in 2019, including a respray in that iconic colour. The paint has since been protected with a ceramic coat.
