The Appeal
The Saab 900's distinctive Scandinavian design, robust engineering, and devoted following all come together to make for one of the most beloved saloons of its era - certainly one of the best-evolved. Built like a bank vault, highly ergonomic and loaded with character, it's still eminently drivable and more than capable of keeping up with modern traffic.
This 1989 900i benefits from a long period of dry, undercover storage. The vendor describes the bodywork and paintwork as being in very good order, with only very minor blistering near the rear windscreen noted, while the underside is said to be in equally good order. The interior is reported to be original, with the leather seats, carpeting, headlining, and door cards all presenting well.
An extensive service history accompanies the car, with MOT certificates dating back to 1992 supporting the 67,700-mile odometer reading. Prior to its recent NCT test, the car was thoroughly inspected by Saab specialists Saab Wisdom, which it passed with glowing colours. The only work carried out during the current ownership has been the replacement of fuel pump bellows and gaskets. Reluctantly offered for sale due to unforeseen circumstances, this 900i is now ready and waiting for its lucky new keeper.image.png1.85 MB

However, the presence or absence of a label does not guarantee the vehicle’s status and it is always worthwhile carrying out your own full vehicle history check before making an offer on a vehicle.
