The Appeal
The third-generation Camaro was a serious reboot for the lineage, introducing a sleeker, more aerodynamic chiselled style and majoring on handling. The fuel-injected 3.1L V6 makes the most of that package because it is much lighter than the more regular V8 version. It’s more economical too, and a canny choice because the iron-block motor is legendarily tough, reliable and easy to work on.
As a 1990 Camaro, this V6 features the much-improved dashboard and interior. Classically finished in black with a generally well-kept grey fabric interior, it has been in the UK since 1990 and has had just five keepers. We’re told that the displayed mileage of 35,000 miles is correct, although that isn’t verified.
The car is said to benefit from good recent maintenance and there are receipts on file to support that, including for the coolant system. A summary of the work is provided below. A few points stand out in the photos, and the current MOT includes a couple of advisories. It runs to March 2027 so this classic slice of Americana is ready to roll.
The vendor says:
“Comes with some service history and owners book pack and manuals. A great car which has been well loved throughout its ownership, great for shows or daily driving. A very low mileage and the car is beautiful.”
