Produced only from 1988 to 1993, the 24-valve R129 represents a rare version of the legendary fourth-generation SL. It offers higher engine revs whilst maintaining a smooth and balanced ride, particularly suited to long journeys. It remains a highly sought-after car, with the premium build quality for which Mercedes-Benz is renowned, and which appears to be well preserved here overall.
This 1990 example, presented in grey with a black interior, now resides in France and benefits from a Collector's Registration.
