The Appeal

The Citroën AX Allure 1.4 is a charming example of the lightweight French city car that captivated enthusiasts with its nimble handling and spirited performance. With its 1,360 cc engine paired to a five-speed manual gearbox, the Allure version offered a dynamic driving experience in a compact, no-frills package. These cars are becoming increasingly rare, making well-maintained examples all the more desirable.

This light grey example has had just two registered owners previously and remained with its last owner for around twenty years before being won in a raffle in 2026 by the current owner. The second owner, an automotive professional, carried out a respray before the current owner took possession of the vehicle. Since then, the car has been stored in the garage under a protective cover and is believed to remain unmodified from its original specification. A Histovec report has been obtained noting matching chassis numbers. The inner door latch on the front left door is reported as broken, but otherwise this AX presents well for a car of its age and is offered to a new owner who will appreciate it.
