The Appeal
The Morgan Plus 4 is one of the most enduringly desirable British sports cars, blending traditional ash-framed coachbuilding with genuine open-road verve. Powered by a 2.0-litre Rover T-Series engine and mated to a five-speed manual gearbox, the late-1990s Plus 4 offers a wonderfully analogue driving experience wrapped in a shape that has changed remarkably little since the 1950s.
This 1998 example has been in the hands of a single registered keeper for its entire life, with the odometer now showing 25,947 miles. The bodywork and interior are said to present well for the car's age, and we're informed it is mechanically sound with no known faults. A private registration plate is also included in the sale, adding a personal touch for the next custodian.
