The Appeal

The W202 is one of the last of Mercedes' engineering-led cars, models notable for their reliability and quality. They make great modern classics, as suited to weekend touring as well as daily duties.

This C180 is one of the nicest of these cars that we've seen in a while. It's the sort of W202 that occasionally pops up - low mileage, low keepers and really well presented. The Green Black metallic paintwork and hard-wearing grey fabric interior are all in good order, with just a few cosmetic points to note in photos.

The reliable 122bhp 1.8L M111 4-cylinder engine has covered just 37,000 miles. The service book shows 17 stamps, all except the first by the same Mercedes specialist. We're told it has been serviced and maintained annually in recent years. Recent work includes a new water pump and replacement tyres. The MOT runs to December 2026 with no advisories.
