The Appeal

BMW’s stylish Z3 is having a bit of a moment, fuelled by classic enthusiasts who want a characterful weekend roadster without having to sacrifice too much in the way of reliability and comfort. Of the wide range of engine options, for those who want to get out and enjoy their cars, the economical and powerful 6-cyl 2.2L 170bhp M54-engined car is the one to have.

The vendor asserts that this low-mileage 2.2L Z3 is one of the best available. Looking at the photos and checking the maintenance history, it’s hard not to draw a similar conclusion. Finished in rare and attractive Atlanta Blue metallic with a black leather cabin, it looks far younger than its 25 years and has clearly been cherished. We’re told that it has been garaged throughout its life and only used in dry weather.

The vendor acquired the car in 2022 and has continued the theme of previous keepers by maintaining it well.
