The Appeal

Here is the kind of modern classic that buyers hope to find - a low mileage, one-keeper, enthusiast-owned car with desirable colour scheme and specification. Add in impeccable servicing history and great condition and you have virtually every buyer’s box ticked.

The TF got sharper Peter Stephens styling and much-improved handling. This XPower Grey car was bought new by the current keeper who added a long list of desirable options such as matching hard top, a/c and a rare wood and leather wheel to the standard specification. The car also has the desirable Sport Pack 2 package, which adds ABS, improved front brakes and larger alloys to the mix.

Despite covering barely over 36,000 miles in the intervening 24 years, the keeper has maintained it extremely well The service book shows a run of main dealer and then marque specialist stamps totalling 14 from new. The last was in February 2026. There is also a long MOT valid to March 2027.

This is a really tidy and clearly much-cherished example of MG’s last British-built roadster.
