The Appeal

Few grand tourers are quite so effortless as Mercedes’ R230. With its innovative ‘Vario’ folding roof, a design that inspired a generation of sports cars, and smooth 300bhp V8, these cars make light work of long journeys.

Finished in black with beige leather cabin, this USA specification SL500 adds extra character with its chromed five-spoke wheels and window trims.
