The Appeal
For classic Aston enthusiasts who like to get out and enjoy their cars, there really is only one choice - the DB9. These cars cleverly retain the hand-built ethos of earlier models like the V8 and DB5 but add modern technology and reliability. They’re ideal for road trips near and far or just a relaxing weekend away.
The trouble is not finding a DB9, but finding a good one in the right specification. This very tidy 2005 coupe is in the desirable combination of Tungsten Silver with black leather, with nice detailing such as the piano veneers and factory multispoke alloys. There are few signs of wear inside and out, and even those 19in alloys are barely marked.
The history file strongly supports a sense of a cherished car. There are 18 service stamps, primarily by main dealers and marque specialists, running up to November 2024. The car has only covered around 3,000 miles since that visit. Recent work has included a new headlining, differential service, replacement parking sensors and a new auxiliary belt. A long, advisory-free MOT adds further reassurance.
This is a very well presented, nicely specified DB9 with impressive service history. One for your summer road trip.
