The Appeal
In the Noughties, Mercedes’ blue sky thinkers were on a roll, and one result was the clever CLS ‘coupe saloon.’ It wasn’t a new idea, for that we can credit cars like the Rover P5B, but Mercedes reignited it, introducing a slew of copycats, but none got the concept quite as right as the C219.
These cars offer stylish alternatives to boxier BMW and Audi rivals. This CLS350 is finished in popular Iridium Silver over black leather and is nicely detailed with five-spoke AMGs and burr walnut trim. It was originally registered in the UK but is now located in Ireland with the seller. It is in good overall condition for age and mileage, with a few cosmetic points to note in photos. None appear to overly detract. The service book shows regular maintenance by main dealers and marque specialists during its time in the UK. It is sold with a new Irish NCT certificate.
