The Appeal
The Aston Martin DB9 brought the renowned British sports car maker firmly into the 21st century. Its ‘VH’ platform introduced bonded aluminium and composite construction, and the car featured an updated version of the 5.9-litre V12 engine, providing impressive and effortless performance. Inside, the cabin was spacious and luxuriously appointed, and offered plentiful scope for personalisation.
The seller has owned this 2006 example since late 2022. The car comes with a comprehensive history, including receipts dating back to at least 2013 and a service book that has been fully stamped to 2023 by Murray Motor Company, Aston Martin Edinburgh and Stratstone Wilmslow.
The exterior – in metallic Toro Red, with contrasting bright finish grille and grey brake callipers – is shiny and bright. Its 19-inch wheels, fitted with matching Bridgestone Potenza tyres, are free of obvious chips and corrosion. Inside, the cabin is described by the seller as “stunning”, with Phantom Grey leather interior complemented by black or grey components and mahogany veneer door and dashboard top cappings.
Well cared-for, with a comprehensive history file, this stunning car is ready for a new owner to enjoy. The seller says: “The car makes me smile every time I look at it! The Toro Red paintwork gleams, and it always turns people’s heads.”
