The Appeal
The X350 is the last of Jaguar’s traditionally styled XJs and the XJR Portfolio is arguably the ultimate version. Just 100 were built, all based on the revised X356 and allocated to UK buyers, and finished in Midnight Black with Ivory leather and neat bespoke details like aluminium wing vents and purposeful 20-inch five-spoke Callisto alloys.
This Portfolio is a tidy survivor that has clearly been well looked after over its 20 years. Inside and out, it presents well, with even usual check areas like alloy rims and the driver’s bolster showing few signs of use. The service history tells a similar story, with a run of regular maintenance by main dealers and specialists up to 2025. The car has covered very few miles since. From the same year, there are invoices for attention to the brakes and suspension. The current advisory-free MOT runs to June 2027.
This luxurious 400bhp supercharged super saloon will definitely appeal to discerning marque enthusiasts.
