The Appeal

The X150 is the kind of classic petrol-powered Jaguar grand tourer we're unlikely to see again. From its smooth, cossetting comfort to its lithe profile and its timber and leather-trimmed interior, it could only be a Jaguar, and it sits neatly within the marque's long postwar GT lineage.

All of that matters because this car has 'collector status' written all over it. With under 3,000 miles from new and always within the same family, it is the sort of XKR that is exceptionally hard to find. We suspect there may not be another. The low mileage is the result of long-term careful storage, during which the car has been MOT'd in most years, providing a continuous record of mileage.

As you would expect of such a low-mileage car, it is in extremely good nick. The popular Lunar Grey paintwork is barely aged and the optional ivory leather, with its walnut trim, looks unused. The car recently passed its MOT with no advisories, although the vendor recommends replacing the original tyres due to age.
