The California was a landmark model for Maranello: the first front-engined V8 Ferrari and the first to feature a retractable hard top. Its naturally aspirated 4.3-litre V8, producing 460 bhp, paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox, delivers a concoction of performance and everyday usability that few rivals could even come close to matching.
