The Appeal

While its contemporaries erred towards civility, Vauxhall’s GTC VXR was all about old-school hot hatch theatrics. 276bhp from its turbocharged 2L engine mix with aggressive styling and handling to offer something genuinely entertaining.

This mid-blue metallic VXR is a low mileage car that comes to market with a recent service and long MOT. We’re told that it is largely standard, save for a Piper sports exhaust downpipe. It is one of the most entertaining Vauxhalls of recent years and the sort of car it will be difficult to replicate in the future. There are some signs of honest use to note in the cosmetic details, but overall this presents as a solid, usable example of a performance Vauxhall.
