The Appeal

The success of the Cayenne encouraged Porsche to broaden its SUV range, but in typical style it engineers didn’t cut corners when it came to creating the Macan. This Sapphire Blue 3L Macan S is a launch-year car so unlike later models retains a genuine Porsche engine, rather than an Audi-derived unit. That twin turbo V6 is good for 340bhp, delivered via the firm’s lightning-quick PDK 7spd dual clutch gearbox.
