The Appeal
The F-Type was Jaguar's belated return to a smaller, more agile sports-car template established by the E-Type. Well-resolved and a serious 911 alternative, it may also be Jaguar's last-ever sports car.
For those seeking one, the 2019 cars like this P300 are particularly appealing. Known as ‘GPF’ cars because of the petrol particulate filter, they are Euro 6 compliant and also feature much-improved infotainment, which was a criticism of earlier models. This Caldera Red P300 GPF is about as close to a new example as we suspect it’s possible to get thanks to its extremely low mileage of under 13,500 miles. The MOT and service history support the figure.
The vendor acquired the car in August 2023. The service history shows regular attention by Jaguar, with the last service in December 2024 by a main dealer. We are told the tyres were replaced with Falken rubber in December 2024 at 12,450 miles. The current MOT runs to June 2027 with no advisories.
The P300 is a canny choice from the F-Type range because of its lighter engine, which aids the handling. It offers decent economy and, at 296bhp through the rear wheels, serious performance. This is a really good example of these increasingly collectable cars.
The vendor says:
“Drives perfectly and is as near new for a car of this age.”
