1960 Velocette Venom 500 Clubman Trim SOLD

Legendary Velocette Venom.
One of only 5, 721 produced from 1955 to 1970.
Comes in Clubman Trim with backward controls and deep handlebars.
The Velocette Venom held the 24-hour speed record for 500 cc machines until 2008.
This was set at the highspeed racetrack in Monthlery / France back in 1961.
They ran an average speed of 161 km/ h ( a little over 100 mph ).
Bike was fully restored a few years ago.
