c1965/ 66 Greeves 250 cc Two Stroke Motocross MX3 , Greeves famed for there lightweight two stoke off road motorcycles ridden to many victories by the likes of "Freddie Mayes" , "Chris Horsefield" , Alan Clough" and World Champion on a Greeves "Dave Bickers" , The 250 cc Greeves Challenger often seen in battle on TV, s "Grandstands" scrambles with "Jeff Smiths" BSA 441 Victor . Greeves produced some memorable competition bikes , Road racers and road bikes , All well engineered and strong . The competition from European and Japanese off road bikes finally ending Greeves grip on the lightweight motorcycle market , by 1975 it was all over for the motorcycle division of Greeves
