1967 Ford Mustang Fastback For Sale
The first generation Ford Mustang was produced from 1964-1973. The introduction of the Ford Mustang created a new class of the automobile known as the pony car. The Mustang's style, with a long hood and short back was very popular and a host of competition. The Ford Mustang was first introduced on April 17, 1964. At that moment in time they only offered hardtops and convertibles, the fastback was put on sale in August 1964. Over the years of production the Mustang saw an increase in overall dimensions and engine power. In 1971 the Mustang had a major redesign to its predecessors. The 1971 Mustang sold many cars but from 1972-1973 the sales declined. 1967 was the first significant change to the Mustang. Exterior trim changes included concave taillights, side scoops, chrome side ornamentation, square rear view mirrors, and yearly wheel and gas cap changes. These cars also now came with larger displacement engines. Engine options included the 200 cubic inch six cylinder with 120 HP, 289 V8 with 200 HP, 289 V8 with 225 HP, 289 V8 with 271 HP and the 390 V8 with 320 HP.
This 1967 Ford Mustang Fastback has just come out of long term ownership. This is a true GT S code Fastback. Car comes with a Elite Marti Report. Comes with a 390 V8 engine and has an automatic transmission. Currently the engine is seized and requiring some parts. This car came from the factory with power steering, power brakes and air conditioning. Has disc brakes on the front and drums on the rear. Original exterior color for the vehicle was springtime yellow and interior came from the factory with black vinyl luxury bucket seats. Has the factory option of the lower back panel grille. Comes with manual wind up windows.
The interior of the vehicle is there but will be requiring a restoration. The front seats are from a later mustang. Flip down back seat is original to the vehicle. Equipped with a floor shifter. All the factory gauges are there with one aftermarket gauge below the dash. All of the glass is there and in good shape. Comes with both black and yellow plates. This vehicle hasn't been on the road since the early 80's. Very solid car. Included in the sale is other parts for the vehicle. Comes with a clean California title.
