Description
This Subaru Impreza Turbo 2000 is a very low-mileage example of the iconic Japanese performance car, which apart from an upgraded Prodrive exhaust, remains entirely unmodified. The lever arch folder of over 70 invoices, test results etc confirms the mileage to be a genuine 53, 200 miles. In 2002 the front and rear callipers were refurbed along with a Godspeed disc upgrade kit. At the same time the timing belt and water pump were changed. Mechanically and cosmetically this car must be one of the best available.
Under the bonnet is the unmodified 2. 0-litre turbocharged flat-four boxer engine, producing around 217bhp and driving all four wheels via a five-speed manual transmission.
The exterior green metallic paintwork is exceptionally good and the original gold Speedline ST2 six spoke wheels have been refurbished and new Pirelli tyres fitted all round. As a 1999 model year car, it is fitted with the facelift dashboard, as well as revised bumper design, larger driving lights and additional bonnet vents.
These cars are becoming increasingly hard to find in their factory finish and without high mileages or modifications, so this is surely an unmissable opportunity for a collector of the very best of competition-bred ‘90s performance cars.
