The only Jacobs Midget replica built by HallÕs Garage of Lincolnshire. One for the MG fanatic and press featured.
This is a unique opportunity to purchase the prototype replication of the Jacobs Midget and the result of 18 months of design and development completed in 2018.
Based on Dick JacobsÕ racing Midget Coupe of which 3 cars were built for racing - this J. E. M. (Jacobs Evolution Midget) was built by HallÕs Garage of Lincolnshire to bring to life again the unique styling of the car. This new version includes modern features to create a more usable car on todayÕs roads including wind-up windows, locking doors and a luxurious interior.
This J. E. M. is built on a 1969 square arch, half elliptic sprung midget shell using fibreglass moulds to replicate the styling of the originals including the front end and of course the coupe roof.
Finished in Nightfire red with a red interior, the car is truly breathtaking to look at and is certain to raise attention wherever it may go.
The specification includes the following:
1275cc engine on a twin-choke Weber
4 speed gearbox
Rebuilt brakes, new callipers, wheel cylinders, brake shoes
Mini fin rear brake drums
Rebuilt lever arm shock absorbers with adjustable rears
New lights and wiring loom
New knock on wire wheels and tyres
The J. E. M. has been featured on the front page of MG Enthusiast and Kit Car Magazine in 2018 after completion.
