We are thrilled to be offering yet another of our fully restored cars to our portfolio. This lovely ex US 1970 Series 2 OTS was commissioned by Moss Jaguar back in February 2017 and still looks as box fresh as the day it was collected by the current owner over 8 years ago.
Originally Pale Primrose Yellow with a Black interior, the car has been finished to a high standard using a recipe that we still use today with every restoration. With touring being the main use for the car, typical areas of reliability were addressed including changing the diff ratio to 3:07, overhauling the engine to stage level 2 with a big-valve cylinder head, reconditioned triple SU’s and 4-speed syncromesh gearbox. Hoses were replaced with silicone for longevity, poly bushes used on the suspension and steering rack, and a Mangoletsi throttle conversion.
The car also boasts sympathetic upgrades such as an Ecosse Motorsport stainless steel exhaust system, uprated quadoptic headlights, rear LED and reverse lights, and a set of our heated sport seats trimmed in red leather to match the interior. Finally, the hood was fitted by Jaguar experts MCT Jaguar Restorations.
The car is ready to use and enjoy, and we invite any inspection. All of our cars come with a 3 month or 5000 mile warranty (whichever is the earlier).
