Alfa Romeo Giulia 2000 GTV ‘Bertone’, year 1974. Chassis number AR2439136, engine number 00512 – S10507. Bodywork finished in silver metallic, combined with a black faux leather interior and black carpet. The Alfa Romeo Giulia GT (105 series), which was first introduced in 1963, is a beautifully proportioned coupé that helped shape Alfa Romeo's brand identity. Designer Giorgetto Giugiaro was only 22 years old when he created the design. The Giulia GT (105 series) was one of his first, but also most important, commissions, and one he was most proud of. This gorgeous Giulia 2000 GTV was sold new in Sweden, the car comes with a complete history file and with an English language instruction book, warranty booklet and original service card. The Giulia 2000 GTV is the top of the range model featuring a 150 bhp twin cam engine and a limited slip differential in the rear axle. With disc brakes around and a five-speed gearbox it might be clear that the 2000 GTV is true sports coupé in the best Italian GT tradition. The bodywork of this car was restored in Sweden and mechanically the car was brought in excellent condition. The car shows all the original details, only the suspension was modified with new bushes and springs, and a (standard) steel sports exhaust was fitted. Under the bonnet everything looks factory original and like new! The interior is in an excellent condition; we believe that the seat upholstery was renewed during the restoration. The dashboard, the gauges, the centre console, the roof lining, are all in excellent original condition! The car is currently fitted with 14-inch alloy GB ‘Minilite’ style wheels (which are an aftermarket option for the Giulia 105-series cars for many decades now) and 185/ 70 14 Vredestein T-Track 2 tyres. A set of four ATS alloy wheels is present too, the spare wheel in the car is a standard factory original steel example. This fast and agile Alfa Romeo Giulia GTV 2000 is an excellent example in a great colour combination and with upgrades to please sporty Alfa Romeo enthusiasts and drivers!
