Triumph TR6, year of built (November) 1974 (first registration 1975). Chassis number CF29243U, engine number CF28269UE, matching numbers, a Heritage document is present to confirm this. Bodywork finished in the wonderful colour Carmine red combined with a beige (tan) faux leather interior and light beige (magnolia) carpet. This fine TR6 is immediately identifiable as a 1975 model year car by its higher front bumper with the turn signals mounted below. The two-tone orange and white turn signal lenses are specific to this model year. This TR6 was sold new in Halifax Canada. In the period 2008 – 2012 the car was restored in Canada, invoices mounting up to €25. 000 are present in the history file. In the year 2020 the car was shipped to the Netherlands where it was road registered in 2023. The Dutch enthusiast owner perfected the car in the fine details, and in our workshop the rear axles, the carburettors and the clutch were overhauled/ renewed. This wonderful Triumph TR6 is in excellent condition (looks near brand new!), and the car is fully up to date. This TR6 presents itself in a wonderful colour scheme. The Carmine red body colour, the tan seats and the magnolia carpet match wonderfully together and with the fantastic high gloss walnut dashboard! The straight six engine still breathes through the original Stromberg carburettors, original air filter housing, and the original type of steel exhaust system; the exhaust note on this car is 100% period correct! This TR6 features an aluminium rocker cover, a sports steering wheel with a wood rim, a Stainless-Steel baggage rack, stainless steel wipers, and a pair of door-mounted rear-view mirrors.
