1956 Ford Consul 1500 Saloon finished in Cream with Red leather interior with White piping.
Very smooth and slick “ Three on the tree” manual gearbox mated to the lovely smooth 1508cc 4 cylinder engine which powers the car nicely and can keep up with modern traffic.
Fitted with a steel sun visor, big band whitewall tyres, chrome badge bar with working period Lucas spot lamps, a discretely hidden Modern radio with remote control.
A stunning new interior was fitted in 2017 costing £3000 which is really striking.
The Consul had a short engine rebuild and refaced cylinder head and hardened valves carried out in 2016 and now runs on unleaded without requiring any additive.
Showing a credible 68000 miles which could well be correct but obviously we can not guarantee this due to the age.
Very presentable car which has been well maintained by previous owners and the last registered keeper for 10 years.
Driving very well with no known issues.
