Surrey Hills Classics are proud to offer this outstanding 1960 Austin Mini Seven with Just 1 previous owner and an extensive 10 year restoration carried out.
These early Austin Mini Sevens are becoming increasingly rare now especially in this condition. “665 FOD” has been with its previous vendor since 1989 and was used sparingly until 2011 when he decided it was time to give the Mini the love it deserved. From the period of 2011 to 2021 it went through a comprehensive restoration carried out by Car Craft.
The previous vendor however did not want to take away its originality, ensuring to keep as many original parts as he could including the subframes and running gear. Safety critical items were replaced I. e brake lines, tyres and worn suspension components.
The interior was also replaced with the correct trim supplied by Newton Commercial at a price of £2, 086. 54.
“665 FOD” history folder is also impressive showcasing many receipts, invoices and photos from the restoration work.
Overall this is a truly special example of an Austin Mini Seven and needs to be seen to be appreciated.
