Beginning in the transport industry making commercial vehicles, Straker Squire produced their first car in 1907. The 15hp was sufficiently merit-worthy to be revived after WWI.
It is understood that this example started life as a four-door tourer – the original body removed in 1929 and consigned to the bonfire. Its rebuilding as a two-seat tourer was completed in 1980 and after passing through two subsequent owners, was purchased by the vendor in 2023. Regularly taken to local car shows, the car presents an attractive addition to a serious collector’s stable.
