Following Darracq’s take-over of Talbot, the V21, based on a pre WW1 design, was produced for the English market. The four-cylinder, 3L engine design also dates back to 1913.
This particular example has much history from 1967, when it was purchased from C J Bendall Ltd in Hitchin, Herts. Last MoT’d in 1982, the vehicle was subsequently stored and some restoration undertaken. Purchased by the vendor in 2024, the vehicle was started on the starter motor and made to run, although re-commissioning will be required. In ‘barn-find’ condition, the car would make a splendid ‘oily-rag’ return to the road.
