A 1931 Alvis 12/ 60 TK.

Maroon and black with tan interior.
Uprated from the 12/ 50’s 1496cc, the 12/ 60 increased the engine’s capacity to 1645cc. Coil ignition was supplied as standard unless a magneto was specified. The sports version (the TK) was equipped with a modified manifold to take twin SU carbs.
This example, bought by the vendor in 2024, has been regularly used for touring East Anglia. Of 67 still in existence, this model has a body produced by Carbodies in Coventry, just down the road from the Alvis works. The history file demonstrates a full restoration to its present excellent condition.
