Having left Stockley Classics some 4 years ago, a change in the owner's circumstances means that they have asked us to sell their treasured 1980 V reg Mini 1000.
This particular Mini was completely refurbished by ourselves previously. This included a respray plus general recommissioning, service, new tyres, and work on the brakes and running gear.
The Mini also benefitted from an engine swap as the original auto gearbox failed. A low mileage Metro 998cc manual engine and box was sourced and the replacement engine provides the Mini with surprisingly nippy performance.
The Russet Brown paintwork is still shiney and even, although there are some slight signs of minor cosmetic corrosion in isolated areas, whilst the interior is very attractive with the iconic stripey seats being in great condition.
The Mini has history back to the 90s, and only 44k miles from new, with the original brochure and owners manual, and V5. It is also Tax and MOT exempt, although it boasts an MOT through to October 2026 for peace of mind.
Overall, a great looking Mini finished in a period colour with history and an MOT.
