Description

THE RILEY 4/ 72 was the flagship model from BMC's Farina range. With 72 bhp and twin carbs, plus the one-off front end design and up market interior, it stood at the top of the tree with the Austin Cambridge propping up all other variants. Badge engineering at its zenith!

Made in small numbers compared to the Austin, Morris and Wolseley, the Riley is still a striking sight today. This proud old girl in cream with red leather interior, has had thousands - and I mean thousands and all documented in the file - spent on her during the past few years. Bought at auction by the previous owner six years ago for 5k (invoice present) it has undergone an exceptional amount of work since in every department. Body, paint, interior, engine and running gear. Again, masses of photos and invoices back it all up. It's in super condition and drives effortlessly.

Find me a better 4/ 72 for this money? Good luck with that.
