The engine has undergone a complete rebuild including cylinder head in July 2026, by VW specialist, and has done approximately 600 miles since completion. New clutch and accelerator cable fitted as well as ancillaries at the same time . Detailed engine and engine bay . Just stunning !!

The car presents very well with just a few minor small imprecations that have been touched in.
. Interior is just beautiful having all been re-upholstered. Lovely basket weave parcel shelf. Last enthusiastic owner spent some 20k to get the car how it is today. That doesn’t include the restoration done by owner before that.
The car drives very well and is surprisingly nippy for a 1300.
Being such an early example it has the features that are most sought. Parsons nose licence plate light, small red rear lights , has had after market indicators fitted , nice early shape front wings, large square rear screen. Lovely Wolfsburg badging.
The boot space up front is again immaculate and has been carpeted to match interior.
This is one beautiful Beetle that is testament to last 2 owners. History file contains many invoices and the original owners manual. Many pictures showing recent engine rebuild etc.
