1976 Chevrolet Corvette C3 Stingray

Highlights

  • Resprayed in recent years with re-chromed wheels
  • Registered on UK plates with current V5C in place
  • Stored exclusively indoors by the seller
  • Appears largely mechanically original
  • In the UK for approximately 20 years

The Appeal

From 1969 to 1976, the C3 was the second Corvette to carry the 'Stingray' moniker. It's a fitting title - Bill Mitchell's sweeping, sleek lines do seem practically aquatic, lending the car a low-down, slicked-back coke-bottle silhouette that remains utterly iconic - perhaps one of the most legendary American machines ever built.

It's little wonder we still clamour for these machines, which are a rather scarce, headturning sight on British soil. This very handsome example has been in the UK for some twenty years, and has benefited from plenty of care in that time.
This handsome red sports car has been recently resprayed, complemented by re-chromed wheels that match the chrome side skirts. he interior appears original, and recent mechanical attention has included carburettor tuning and a new battery with isolator switch.

If you've ever wanted to get behind the wheel of a real all-American classic, this is an excellent prospect.
