The Appeal
In 1993, Chevrolet celebrated 40 years of the Corvette with a special series featuring particularly distinctive styling. The 40th Anniversary Corvette is notably recognised by its Ruby Red finish, used for both the bodywork and interior, as well as its commemorative logos embroidered on the seats and floor mats. It's powered by a 5.7-litre LT1 V8 producing 300 bhp and paired with a four-speed automatic gearbox. Only 2,043 convertible examples were produced in this series, making it a relatively rare version of the C4 generation.
This car spent its early years in Florida before moving to Ontario in 2012, then being imported to France in 2023. Since then, it has undergone several mechanical interventions, including a front end restoration, replacement of rear brake pads, gearbox oil change with filter replacement, and engine servicing.
The bodywork has been repainted in its original Ruby Red finish, whilst the interior has received new floor mats and sun visors. A matching hard-top is also supplied with the car, offering greater versatility to this convertible.
According to the seller, the car starts immediately and runs correctly. He notes in particular having completed a journey of approximately 1,200 km over a weekend in July 2025 without encountering any issues.
